Cavity Floor Boxes

Our various cavity floor boxes are remarkably easy to fit, requiring no tools to get the job done. If a tap off has been installed, it takes less than two seconds to add the floor box and the whole operation can be performed without opening the lid. Alternatively, a two-stage installation option, with additional fixing at the first stage, can be provided if desired. Both right and left-handed installation is possible, allowing you easy access to floor boxes.

These cavity floor boxes have a 6.5mm recess in the lid for carpet, making them the perfect underfloor track system for 63 amp busbars. Our easy access floor boxes are made in an attractive blue-grey colour, moulded from polycarbonate, with a strong lifting handle and slide hinges to facilitate lid removal. The lid itself is made of reinforced steel, 3mm thick and is self-closing.

Suitable for use with heavy grade floors, our cavity floor boxes posses a generous installation tolerance. Three and four compartment versions are available, although the boxes are the same physical size. Whether your box has three or four compartments, all versions will have 20mm and 25mm knockouts to allow hassle-free access to floor boxes and with easy-fit cable protectors, maintaining your system couldn’t be simpler.
