CMD Nominated for Sheffield Business Award!

CMD has been shortlisted for the The Sheffield City Council Next Big Thing Award by the Elevation Recruitment Sheffield Business Awards 2011!

We are in contention with Voice and ITM Power for the award, which recognises a product, service, person or organisation that is establishing importance in the marketplace, raising its profile, capturing local interest and enhancing the city region’s prospects for the future.

This is a big honour for us and we’re delighted to have been nominated. The Sheffield Business Awards 2011 dinner takes place on Thursday 19th January 2012 at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre and we are happy to say we will be in attendance. We will be in great company as there are some well known local organisations nominated in other categories. For example, Westfield Health, Asprea and Kier Sheffield have both been shortlisted for The Copthorne Hotel Sheffield Excellence in Customer Service Award, while Freeman College, Voluntary Action Sheffield and St Luke’s Hospice are up for The Adsetts Partnership Third Sector Award.

The Sheffield Business Awards dinner, organised by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is one of the most popular events on the city’s calendar. Entry is open to all businesses in the ‘S’ postcode area, enabling Rotherham based companies like ourselves to be nominated. Previous hosts include comedian and impressionist Jon Culshaw, and there will be a champagne reception and entertainment until 2.30am.

It should be a great night and everyone at CMD is looking forward to it.
