Section 607

Section 607 is part of Section 6 of the IEE Wiring Regulations, ‘Special Installations or Locations’, and applies to all circuits with high earth leakage currents defined as over 10mA. With the widespread use of information technology equipment, high leakage currents can be found in all offices and shops. Section 607 gives very specific guidance for dealing with earth leakage currents in a variety of circumstances.
