Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

7 May 2020

CMD LTD ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Until recently, our Warehouse, Production and Distribution Teams were operating with skeleton staff to support essential services projects. Our production capacity is now being gradually increased in line with government guidelines and I am pleased to inform you that we are able to fulfil all new and existing orders.

Since our last communication, CMD Ltd have continued to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and, by following government advice, have now implemented a number of changes at our manufacturing and distribution facilities to ensure our colleagues can return to work safely and meet the needs of our customers.

Hand hygiene and social distancing guidelines are now observed meticulously by all colleagues as we work together to reduce the spread of the virus. New shift patterns have been introduced to minimise contact in the workplace and control the number of colleagues on site at any one time.

With other initiatives such as commercial cleaning (fogging), the introduction of a one way system and the availability of PPE, and not forgetting the support and cooperation of our committed and motivated team, we will continue to increase our capacity until we achieve full output.

Whilst some colleagues will continue to work from home for a period of time, we believe that now is the right time to get back to work and play our part in kick-starting the economy. The effects of the COVID-19 virus will undoubtedly be with us for many years to come but by taking small steps together, we will get through this and once again help you by Connecting Power, People and Organisations.

If you have any questions or concerns about how this communication affects you, please contact us by clicking here. A member of our team will then be happy to assist you with your enquiry.
